    Frequently Asked Questions…

    What phones work with Republic?

A certified Republic Wireless phone is required for membership, because our unique Wi-Fi Hybrid Calling technology is built in. We’re currently offering one smartphone device — the Motorola DEFY XT.

What’s the difference between the two membership plans?

The only difference between the $29/month plan and the $19/month plan is the pricing, and how much you pay upfront for the smartphone.

You get the same smartphone, same service, same calling technology regardless of the plan you choose.

I’m ordering more than one smartphone.  Can I choose both the $19/month plan and the $29/month plan on the same order?

Unfortunately at this time, we are unable to mix and match plans. If you want to purchase smartphones under the two separate plans, you must complete two separate transactions.

Is unlimited service only over Wi-Fi?

No, you have unlimited access to the cell network (through Sprint) and Wi-Fi. But Wi-Fi is cooler.
